We marched. Now it's time to take action.
We're all trying to keep the momentum going—and what better way to stay involved than to gather right before the New and Full Moon Meditations at HausWitch?
Get ready for The Witching Hour. A time where we're at our most powerful, our most vibrant, where we can gather our strength. Whether you're attending the meditation or not, help us use this time to organize and mobilize. No need for signups, just join us. When you start asking yourself "what can I do?" this is a space where you can find your answer.
Here's how The Witching Hour works:
- Each meeting will start an hour before the Moon Meditation—it's a separate event so no need to attend both if you don't want to. The next one is this Friday, January 27th at 7pm for a half hour of political action: calling senators and reps and filling out postcards. The rest of the time will be spent in smaller groups planning and mingling, until the just before he meditation starts at 8pm.
- Not everyone has to be involved in every cause. This is a hub for you to meet people who you can work with to raise awareness for things you care about and believe in.
- There might be homework (but only if you volunteer for it): Let's call our representatives and senators, organize fundraisers, write letters to government officials, and make signs for upcoming protests or events brought to the group's attention. Looking for something to do today? Check out our master list of events and donation links here and share it with your friends: bit.ly/WitchingHourDoc.
- The Witching Hour and the Moon Meditation are separate events. We encourage you to come to the Witching Hour even if you aren't attending the meditation. Likewise, joining us for the The Witching Hour does not guarantee you a spot at the meditation. Please purchase tickets to the meditations by clicking here.
We'll talk about the best ways to stay in touch, what to do now that we've marched, and help people form smaller groups to tackle each cause. This is your space, we're just organizing it.
Let's move forward together. See you on Friday.
