Welcome to Aquarius Season, witches.
Aquarius season is a great time to shake things up. Archetypally, Aquarius is the disruptor, the rebel, the innovator.
We enter Aquarius after Capricorn, which is all about tradition. systems, propriety. respect, the rules we all agree upon.
And then Aquarius rolls in and has some questions, and more importantly, some feedback.
What's not working here? What needs to get a shake up? Where are the cracks in the foundation?
So for Aquarius season 2026, we the witches are
REINVENTING REVOLUTION
Even without knowing the astrological signatures of revolution that are unfolding in the current sky, we can all feel the pulse of revolution in the air.
The aches and creaks of a foundation that has had far too many cracks for far too long. The putrid stench of the most toxic parts of our collective shadow, coming up from the underworld to be mirrored back to us on full display. There’s no ignoring what’s been unfolding around us for years.
Revolution takes place on multiple levels, collectively and individually.
Everyone can (and must) participate in the revolution, and no one part is more important than another. We can’t all be warriors on the front lines. Revolutions need organizers, leaders, artists, healers, visionaries, cooks, farmers, diplomats, and more.
We are all imperative to the process.
So for this series, we will be continuing the theme of our shop owner's latest book Intention Obsession, and exploring how witches can participate in the revolution by each zodiac archetype.
And where better to start than with the disruptor of the zodiac itself: Aquarius
As we said, Aquarius comes after Capricorn, which is all about structure, tradition, foundations, etc. But Aquarius wants to innovate and take us into the future.
In order to move forward, we need a clear path ahead, so for Aquarius season, we offer you a road opener spell for our collective future progress.
Aquarius Road-Opener Spell
Materials:
-The Star card from your favorite deck (Mine is the queer tarot deck)
An orange candle for hope and illumination
Basil for clearing blocks
Honey for sweetness and all things good
The Spell
Clear your working space and cast a protective circle around yourself however feels best to you.
Pick up the star card and take a few deep breaths with it, feeling its light of hope ignite the spark inside you.
Pick up the orange candle and meditate with it on your vision for a brighter future. After you feel the candle has been charged with your intention, carve a star, and any other symbols for hope and inspiration into the side of the candle.
Anoint the candle with the honey, basil, and anything else that resonates for you.
Place the star card underneath a fire safe candle holder, put the candle in the holder and light it.
As the candle burns down, state aloud three times:
May hope abound,
and blocks come down,
to a bright future ahead.
Leave the candle burning in a safe area. If you have to leave the room the candle is in, put the flame out. Relight the candle and repeat the incantation each night at the same time until the candle has burned out.
