Morning:
My favorite morning rituals are easy and take little effort - I'm a Cancer Moon, so I'm too sleepy for something complex! I like to start the day by playing some bad bitch anthems (I've been loving Charli XCX and Chappell Roan) and choosing which crystal jewelry to wear. Obsidian, ruby, black moonstone, and fossilized seashell have been my go-to's this year, but sometimes I'll shake it up with my moldavite ring. If I'm taking aura photos and doing readings, I'll also give myself a quick spritz of Boundaries in a Bottle to protect my energy.
Mid-day:
Something that I find magical is creating art. Whether it be a long term project or a fun lil craft, adding intention and color magick to your art can make it a spell. It's not easy for me to finish projects, so having additional purposes behind them is helpful. When I buy yarn to crochet, I always choose the skeins based upon the color's alchemical properties. Coloring can be very meditative as well; this tends to be my choice when I'm feeling a little burnt out, or when I just want to work with color without too much thought. I've also been really into beading recently, which offers the opportunity to bring in some crystal magick as well. Exploring different mediums and learning different processes has definitely helped me get more in touch with my spirituality.
Evening:
My partner and I like to choose a candle to light each night. It's a simple ritual but I consistently find it to be one of the most satisfying. We have a few that were made specifically to use in spellwork that are infused with essences and crystals - my partner's favorite has been the Love candle by Magic Hour. Any candle can be a spell, though, and lately I've been leaning into some ocean scents to cleanse my space (and my own energy). Most of my evening rituals tend to be centered around cleansing. Being an aura reader and working in retail, I have a lot of energetic clutter to get rid of at the end of the day. I just try to balance my need to release those things with my need to relax!
