Hi witch babes! We want to introduce you to some of our absolutely INSPIRING healers working in the HausWitch Healing Space on Front Street right around the corner from the shop. First up is Lateesha Bynum Hinton. This wildly knowledgeable woman started off her spiritual life in the church and weaved her way through the esoteric studies of astrology, hermeticism, numerology, and tarot until she landed in Salem to pursue her professional astrological career. We are so lucky to have her in our orbit. We sat down with her to learn a bit more about her practice.
Tell us about your healing practice!
I am Lateesha and I counsel my clients using astrology, numerology, and tarot. My focus is shining light on hidden aspects of my client's personality. Through these divination tools, I am able to inspire my clients to focus on the most powerful aspects in their charts of astrology and numerology and bring them forward. If there are challenging blocks, they can be seen in the birth chart, when those blocks or areas of pain and stagnation are identified, we can work with the Tarot, crystals, herbs, or custom guided meditations to get the energy moving.
What led you to astrology?
As I began to realize the connection between what is in the above us (the planets and stars) and what is on earth (plants, crystals), over the years, I have been able to use them for my own personal healing and provide the wisdom that lies within the stars and what is here on earth and whispered by Spirit to bring wholeness.
What is your favorite kind of session?
I love the readings that allow for in-depth conversations between me and my client like birth chart, synastry, or transit readings. I am fulfilled when my clients walk away enlightened and empowered by understanding.
What's your favorite herbal or crystal ally?
My favorite crystal is Goethite. It has proven to be powerfully grounding while simultaneously bringing clear insight from Spirit.
Is there a way to work with you if I don't live in Salem?
I provide readings via phone and Skype to accommodate those who are not in the Salem area.
How can I keep in touch with you?
I can be reached via email at contact@lateesha.com or through my website Lateesha.com.
