After surrender comes rebirth. When we let go of the heavy things, let the old parts of us die off, eliminate and reconfigure old thought patterns, growth, space, and light take their places. The Death card isn't about death as an END. It is about the place in between, the place where death, the act of dying, of letting something die comes into the larger scheme of life. When we meet the Death card, it is always an invitation and an encouragement to let go of what no longer serves you, so that newer bigger brighter lighter things can take their place.
