The days may be getting shorter but the holidays have just begun! Traditionally winter time is an excuse to stay indoors with good food and good folks, so don't get too bogged down by the capitalist pressure to give the perfect gift and wear the perfect outfit: if you're taking a moment to savor the season, you're doing it right! But we wanted to help with your celebration anyways, because our witches deserve the best ;)

You may have already heard about the newest member of our Secret Spell Candle family, Feast! If not, allow us to introduce you: Feast is a secret spell for abundance, with fragrance notes of Apple Bourbon, Rosemary, and Sage. You can simply light the candle and set your intentions and there, you've cast a perfectly wonderful spell for abundance.
One dish does not a feast make, friends. To get abundance you gotta give abundance, so we recommend getting your whole self involved in this spell, along with anyone else you love enough to invite! All you have to do is, well, FEAST!

The spell:
-Create an altar with your Feast candle and anything else that symbolizes abundance to you. This is a great place to charge up the food or drink that you'll be using in your spell!
-Light your Feast Candle, along with any burnable herbs for abundance like Rosemary or Bay Leaf
-Hit play on this Feast playlist by ArtWitch Brenda, and get to groovin while you cook! Dancing and singing while you prepare a meal can infuse the ingredients with your best intentions, not to mention infuse your space with musical magic.
-Mix up this abundantly sweet + fiery cocktail by Spirit(s) Medium Erica Lee and let the warmth spread through your energetic body (now is a good time to tell your companions you love them)
-Have a meal, as big or small as you like but be sure to put real intention into what you're consuming! This would be a great time to pull out an old family recipe, or even a brand new recipe that you're excited to try. If microwave ramen is all you've got, put it in your favorite bowl or mug and let yourself enjoy it. For a simple bonus spell, add a few drops of Pyrite gem essence to whatever you make!
-Remember the "give abundance to get abundance" thing we talked about? At the end of your feast, consider making a donation of any amount to a group or person in need. We encourage Salem locals to give to Solidarity North Shore, but there are lots of worthy causes to support! Trans Santa is another of our faves.
-Once you've tuckered yourself out with dancing and loving and feasting and giving, extinguish your candle and settle in for a post-ritual nap. Keep a journal close by so you can write down any messages that come through your dreams.

The days of the week carry just as much energy and symbolism as the months of the year or the phases of the moon, and that can be helpful for witches who like to time their spells with the vibe of the moment!Inside you'll find practices, associations and allies for each day of the week to help you infuse every day with magic.
